Alison Krauss one of most well-known and wealthy Country singers born on July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois in the US. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country singer. Her age was just teen when she began her journey into the music world, having won local contests as early as 10 years old, and recorded her debut album at 14 years. The year 1985 saw her signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. She joined the group with which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
