The single came out in 2015, when she turned 19. The track was highly praised by critics as well as fans. The song peaked at number 19 in both the Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. A cover of one of her songs, Sweater Weather, was the one that got her attention. EP Entertainment gave her the chance to write and write her own songs.
