April Bowlby
April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. She has portrayed Kandi in The CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actress who is best known for playing Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modeling and moved on to films and TV series. In the role of an extra, she first appeared on screen in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In the near future, she was cast in the part as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her recognition around the world. She played the recurring role as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-based series Titans. The spin-off series Doom Patrol will see her reprising the character. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) as well as The Wrong Daughter. In addition to All Roads Lead Home she was also in The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada as well as other films. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California as a child and attended East Union High School. Her first studies were French and ballet in Moorpark College. Then she decided to pursue acting. While studying drama with Ivana Chubb, she landed the lead part (Kandi on Two and a Half Men), within months of making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV programs including CSI with the role of Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY with Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005, Stacked as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby has recently played the character Natasha (a 12-year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The film is about a tragic accident which leads her to be separated from her mother. Bowlby has been cast in the upcoming 2008 comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She resides Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She has never married and she has no children.
